survival skills

Today we realized that G was on week 1 of his summer work book and we're 3 weeks into summer break.  We're also planning to take a trip at the end of summer, so he's got 5.5 weeks to do 8 weeks of work.  I went through the booklet and wrote the date for each assignment.  That way he will know how to do a little more each time to avoid having a stressful amount at the end.

I also showed him how to use paperclips and post-it notes to save his place in the workbook.
