God answers
G wasn't able to go to scout this year. His friend, whose dad signs, broke his collar bone. So they were both not going. I was really upset about that. I didn't expect the dad to go when his son couldn't. I was just upset that G's options were limited.
During the scout camp there was a terrible storm and a scout died when a tree fell on his tent. I think of where G would have been if he'd gone to camp. His CI would likely be non-functioning and he could have been in the wrong place. Maybe even more people would have been injured trying to find him.
I'm grateful that God protected G this summer. I didn't see His hand in this and I should have trusted that God has a plan and it doesn't always match ours.
