G is on a robotics team and academic bowl team.  He takes these very seriously.

His Academic Bowl team won regionals and advanced to nationals.  They couldn't travel to DC because governor DeSantis would not provide funding where covid tests were required.   The kids didn't mind taking the tests, but the governor is running for president and has to stand for freedom at all costs.
