Surgery

 G needs to have a screw inserted in the bone that broke (scafoid).  It isn't healing and if it does not heal, it can start to rotate and cause arthritis.  Boo.  So now he will get a bone graft from his hip to shore up the little tiny bone in his wrist.  We asked that the surgeon wait until after he performs as Lord Forquatt in the Shrek musical.  And that the surgery occur before he goes to DC for Academic Bowl.  So he has a 5 day window!  Then G will be in a cast for 3 more months.  This will likely impact his timing for mission call.  But we plow on and keep going.
